Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Dott, LLC, 611 South DuPont Highway, Suite 102, Dover, Delaware 19901, USA ("we") for your use of Appieu. By creating an account or using Appieu, you agree to them. If you use Appieu for a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it, and "you" includes that business.
Using Appieu
Appieu helps businesses understand their data through charts, AI answers, reports and alerts. You must be at least 18 and intend to use it for business purposes.
Your account
Give accurate details, keep your password private, and tell us quickly if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Your data
Your data stays yours. You give us permission to store, process and send it to our service providers only as needed to run Appieu, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You confirm that you have the right to upload your data and that doing so does not break any law or agreement. You are responsible for handling any personal information in your data lawfully, including telling people where the law requires it. [lawyer to confirm whether a data processing agreement is needed]
AI answers can be wrong
Appieu's answers, charts, reports and alerts are for information only. They can be incomplete or wrong, including because of problems in your data. Check important numbers against your own records before relying on them. Appieu is not financial, tax, accounting, legal or investment advice, and you are responsible for your own decisions.
Alerts and reports may be late or missed, so do not rely on them for anything urgent or safety-related.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- Break the law or anyone's rights.
- Upload malware, or try to get around security or usage limits.
- Access another customer's data, or test or attack Appieu's systems without written permission.
- Overload Appieu, or use automated tools to scrape it.
- Copy Appieu or use it to build a competing product.
Usage limits, such as the number of files and AI questions, apply and may change.
Price
New accounts get a 14-day free trial, with no card needed. After that, Appieu costs US$24.99 a month, plus any tax due where you are. If you subscribe during your trial, your first payment is normally taken when your free days run out. Your subscription renews monthly until you cancel. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. If your trial ends or your subscription stops, you cannot use Appieu until you subscribe, but we keep your data unless you delete it or we tell you otherwise.
Payments are sold through Link, a Stripe service, which acts as the merchant of record. Link processes your payment, sends your receipts and handles payment support, and its own terms apply to your purchase. You will see LINK.COM on your card statement. [lawyer to confirm billing wording]
Availability and backups
We work to keep Appieu running and back it up, but it can be interrupted, for example during updates, and features may change. Keep your own copies of important files, as Appieu is not your main record of them.
Our property
Appieu, including its software, design and brand, belongs to us or our licensors. You receive a limited right to use it under these terms. If you send us feedback, we may use it freely.
Other services
Appieu can work with services such as Google Sheets. Their own terms apply, and we are not responsible for them.
Ending your use
You can stop at any time and delete your account from within Appieu. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts Appieu or others at risk, and will give notice where reasonable. After an account closes, we delete its data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, Appieu is provided "as is" and "as available", without promises that it will be accurate, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunities. Our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$100. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Your responsibility to us
If a third party makes a claim against us because of your data or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover the resulting reasonable losses and costs.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, and disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless your local law gives you a right to use your own courts. [lawyer to confirm]
Changes
We may update these terms. We will tell you about important changes before they take effect. If you keep using Appieu after that, the new terms apply.
